Well the rumour seems to have been correct. Radnage now has no parish council nor does it have a Clerk.

Do you know why the vote of no confidence was done?

According to the Bucks Free Press the residents were complaining that the Council were not listening to them.

Then I guess this was on a specific topic? Did the BFP mention any more? Maybe something like planning applications or use of the village hall?

I'm not aware of a specific topic/issue, just a general deterioration in the relationship between some of the Councillors and the residents/parishioners.

Maybe if they'd made use of this facility the situation would be somewhat different.

However, there's nothing to be gained by looking back. All we can hope is that the residents of Radnage can elect a Parish Council who will listen and respond to the wishes of the residents in matters that are within their remit.

We understand that an interim council has been formed, a temporary clerk appointed and the first meeting takes place this week.

Let's hope that during the 3/4 months that the interim council is sitting the parishioners organise themselves and new candidates put forward for the election that will take place later in the year.
