I have been discussing the availability of broadband in Ibstone with a number of residents. It seems that in general it isn't good enough, and in some particular cases, particularly along Gray's Lane, service is poor - slow and unreliable. I am seeing Paul Goodman MP on Monday to discuss Hambleden Valley, where there is no broadband at all south of Skirmett. I shall also be raising Ibstone, although of course we are outside his area.
If you have any particular points that you would like to make regarding broadband, please post here.

I feel that approaches via the government and BT are going to be a long and drawn out affair and I can't help wondering if you might be better served by approaching Virgin Media with a view to them laying a fibre optic though the village?
